Greetings,
I returned a week ago from a ten day cruise on the Maasdam. We had
notified the cruise line of my celiac diet requirements before the cruise.
Actually, their form that I filled out and then discussed with a representative was
less than straightforward.
However, the ten day experience was wonderful I was approached at the table
on the first night by one of the dining room supervisors. He catered to my
needs on that first night and then went over the next day's menu with me. We
made selections and he then ensured that sauces were not added to items,
croutons were not put on salads, etc. etc. Beyond that the food was excellent. The
best I have had on a cruise ship.
Just thought you would like to know. John in Newport News, Virginia.
