Joe's integrity and steadfastness is rare.

Absolutely!
Joe's appreciation of the causes of our national paralysis is positively profound
Aside from his legitimate obsession with creating a governmental system rooted in the rule of law, I do not think there is another negative in his political closet
I think we need more Joe Sambou's in a nation whose public life is energised by troubling parochialism.
Like Joe, I hope more of us appreciate that our national fate will always remain an indivisible whole

Just to set the record straight. Joe among all within the STGDP executive
was one of the first to condemn Kebba's off-the-cuff remarks on
"tribalism" just as he does to anyone else that tend to express less than
responsible remarks or acts within the group.
Joe is far from what you tend to portray him to be character wise as far
as my interactions with him in the past several years is concerned.
The way forward is for all to accept faults and shortcomings and chart the
strategy for the achievment of our common goals in a different form.
The STGDP was meant to be owned by everyone who had good intentions for
the journey to a prosperous Gambia, but the natural process of elimination
of the faint hearted weaklings and differences in algorithms for the
realization of the goals and objectives of STGDP meant some had to give
way. Some did not just give way, they started antagonising, which is
really unfortunate.
My appeal to all is to stand up and retake ownership of this august body
to rectify what went worng and chart a new way forward with maximum
dedication and support without bias or ill-will - even if it comes to
revamping the project - and we shall reach the peak together with less
friction than necessary.
Joe's integrity and steadfastness is rare.
Thanks,
