BY OUR BANJUL ROOFING CORRESPONDENT
The speaker of Gambia's Parliament Sheriff Mustapha Dibba, has been arrested alongside with the NIA Deputy Director Ngorr Secka and other civilians, the Freedom Newspaper can reveal.

SPEAKER DIBBA BEHIND BARS, ACCUSED
OF TREASON!!!
Sources hinted that speaker Dibba was arrested at 2pm on Thursday for allegedly working with MPS for possible impeachement of President Jammeh. Mr.Dibba, was a main challenger to the former PPP administration. He joined the ruling APRC, following his failed attempt to win the last elections with appalling poll results. He change of political heart was not well received by his colleagues who accused him of mortgaging his NCP party, one of the oldest political parties in the tiny West African country.
Information reaching the Freedom Newspaper say Ngorr Secka was accused by the authorities of helping the five coup suspects to escape from custody. It would be recalled that former NIA boss Daba Marenah, Lt.Lowe and others were feared dead after the government claimed that the men escaped from custody. Reports say the men were summarily executed by the government after been subjected to brutal torture.
As we went to press, more arrests were effected in Banjul. Our reporter will keep us posted about developments.
