Dear John,

You can assign different rings for different people using the Nokia 3200.

One advantage of Nokia phones is this: you can read the manuals for all
their phones on their web site.

The Talx software costs $325 and it will only work with certain phones.
That phone sold by Beyond Sight costs about $1,000 (I can't remember the
exact figure).

I think it's unreasonable for blind people to have to pay such huge amounts
for an accessible cell phone.

The Nokia PC Suite works with many of their phones and you can program a few
things using the PC Suite, a DKU5 cable and your PC. The software is free
and the cable costs $40.00.

People who use Cingular Wireless can use the feature called VoiceConnect and
the fee is waived for blind customers.
