If you are going to be gone and the forecasts indicates a reasonable chance
of storms ground the antennas.  When the static level gets high on the
standard broadcast band, it is also time to do the same.
My barometer here is when static is as loud as wgn, but unless you are in
Milwaukee, that is meaningles.  Think of a 5 kw station 30 miles away and
you got the idea.
