Keith > there were no Paleolithic christians and probably no atheists

Jim > This is patently unfair. Of course there were no Christians since Jesus
was
born a mere two thousand years ago. The point you appear to be trying to make
is mere conjecture, offensive to those of faith, and is the very definition
of
off topic.

Sorry, Jim, I disagree. Off topic, perhaps. Offensive, no. I am a committed
Jew and I find nothing
offensive with the statement that Keith made. There were no paleolithic Jews,
Buddhists,
Muslims or Hindus, either. I am not the keeper of the list, but I have been on
lists in the past
where these kinds of discussions have gotten way out of hand. My
recommendation to you, and
to anyone else reading this, is that when you take offense to something
someone writes, please
contact them off list to register your displeasure or let Don do the
chastising.

I am curious, however, to know why you would be offended by an irrefutable
statement of fact.
Since that is off topic, feel free to contact me off list.

Mike W.
