RE: Getting the word out
My Feb 2nd 2005 posting has resulted in only 3 replies of support. My goal
is the minimum of 20 support persons. I am trying to remain optimistic. I
am telling myself that this posting was simply overlooked due to the
excessive vendor ads occurring on the same day. (or that you have granted
my request but forgot to send a reply indicating your support.)

Presently, I am refusing to believe that my fellow listmates are “Apathetic
or Complacent” in regards to raising public awareness. How many times have
I heard fellow sufferers exclaim, “I wish we had a famous Spokesperson!”?

Perhaps, I am so adamant regarding the topic is due to my own needless
suffering for over 20 years with a misdiagnosis. Had the civil and medical
communities been better informed, my health would not have been severely
compromised for this many years. Plus, I believe that GF foods and
restaurants would be far more commonplace than they are presently.

Help ME, take CD, DH, and gluten sensitivity “out of the closet”!
Please make an attempt to contact the Montel Williams TV show and ask that
he do a show on these disorders. www.montelshow.com has a place where you
can share your story via email. Or if you chose, you can call 1-800-MONTEL-
2 and share your story. Or lastly, you can write: The Montel Williams Show,
433 West 53rd Street, New York, NY 10019

Please reply indicating your support. I would also like to hear from those
wishing to keep this disease silent or secret (please explain your
reasons). Is there a stigma associated with these disorders that I am
unaware of????
