Jumping the gun a little bit, because this is for late September -
October, but we are contemplating a trip to the Laurentians North and East
of Ottawa. In 2003 we did this trip (before CD), and had a delightful
time, staying in Ottawa, Maniwakee, and Gananaque. This trip we'd like to
go north from Ottawa, but more easterly into the mountains (hoping for
off-season bargains in the ski country).
Any hints for gluten-free-friendly places to stay and eat would be
appreciated.
Also, does anyone have a good restaurant card that works well in French
Canada? My husband's French is good but missing some of the words needed
for this situation.
Thanks.
Mary Jane
