I have been GF for 2years and doing well. I have recently been ill for
about a month and am wondering if anyone has had similar problems and
has any ideas as the doctors are stumped. Gluten tests are neg.
Symptoms are similar to when I was first diagnosed; nausea, vomiting,
night sweats, fatigue, neuro symptoms and "toxic" like feeling that
fluctuates during the day. 5 lb wt loss ( a lot for me) probably due to
decreased intake. They started me on B12 shots which has resolved the
fatigue, sweats and neuro symptoms. The nausea and vomiting persist.
1. Has anyone had symptoms similar to gluten ingestion and it is
due to other food sensitivities ( I wonder about soy)
2. Has anyone had nausea and vomiting with low stomach acid? I seem
to have that which may explain the benfit from the B12
3. Has anyone had B12 deficiency? If so, how long for the symptoms
to resolve? I am wondering if the nausea and vomiting is from that.

I'd appreciate any input or other ideas. CT of the abdomen is scheduled
to look for other problems but I have a feeling it will be normal as the
symptoms seem to fluctuate greatly. Thanks, Amy
