I'm overweight so, the first thing they check is the thyroid.  I'm being
seen by a endrocinologist (sp?).  Thanks for the tip though.

Beth,
    I'm sorry that you and your Dad are struggling with medical problems.
Have you had your thyroid function tested? Thyroid problems can cause
extreme fatigue but, are usually readily correctable with medication.
Thyroid disorders also tend to occur more often in women than in men.
Susan (who needs to go and make sure she took her Synthroid this morning)
