Hi All:

I'm working with someone who is telling me that when he turns on his
Dell computer, he gets a message that Mcafee has detected a virus.
However, he also gets the message from Windows which says "your computer
may be at risk anti virus software might not be installed."

He'd like to take Mcafee off the computer and put AVG on. However, we
can't find where to uninstall Mcafee. We went into the control panel
and looked for Mcafee in add/remove programs and can't find it there to
remove it. We looked under the All Programs submenu in the start menu
and there's nothing for mcafee there. Finally, we went to Program Files
on the c: drive and there is nothing there for mcafee either. Where oh
where is mcafee hiding? We can't put AVG on until we get mcafee off the
system. Any ideas you all have will be greatly appreciated.
