Actually, this is somewhat analogous to weight loss. It is seen quite
often that
the person who has a great deal of weight to loose, i.e. in excess of
100lbs or so,
can loose in excess of pupported maximum of1.5-2lb a week without risking
loss
of LBM. Many untrained individuals have been seen to gain in excess of
30lbs of
LBM in a year without resulting to the use of ANY suppliments, anabolic
steroids
or otherewise. An inspiring book is 'Super Squats' by Randy Strossen;
gives
specific programs (involving some form of squat, of course!) and andecotes
of
success with the program. There are some central ideas to the course, but
it
can be tailored to individual preference. With the advanced lifter changes
in LBM
are alot harder to come by.
