Um, let's see... meat, meat, meat, and non-starchy vegetables. Plus a
moderate amount of fruit and nuts. I've been eating this way for nearly
two years, and haven't gotten tired of my grilled steaks and chicken
breasts, with a large salad on the side, yet!

(Ok, ok, sometimes I want French Toast at Denny's, but then I order the
Sirloin Steak -n- Eggs, and feel better.)

Well, and most vegetables, unless you're growing your own or have an
organic grocery store, are grown using chemicals. I've stopped worrying
about the chemicals, frankly, and am just enjoying my food. I don't have a
good answer for you, though, aside from perhaps getting a freezer and going
to a local farmer who might sell you half a beef or something. But in that
case, you'll need to know how to cook everything from flank steak to pot
roast. Which isn't hard; but most people don't go beyond the cut of meat
they're familiar with.

(Speaking of which, I'm so excited! I found a farmer who sells lamb; my
mom and I are going to go in together to buy a whole lamb, which should get
us about 45 lbs of meat, which we'll split.)

Red meat isn't necessarily less healthy than fish. But I'm sure there'll
be more on that later :D

This should certainly help you with that! I've seen a lot of improvement
in these areas myself.

Cheers,
Corbie
