Yes, that's right God tells us that we can do all things through him who
strengthens us. I think that is one of my favorite verses in the bible. I
tell the people at Wayside Christian Mission when we go that I don't know
what they are going through, but in a way I do because we all have problems
and some are more obvious than others. Some of the people there are going
through programs to get off of drugs and have been through things that you
wouldn't believe. They will tell you everything. So, I tell them that I
have some of the same feelings that they have. I once felt that I couldn't
go on and questioned God and couldn't understand. I had felt like I had hit
the bottom and couldn't get up. Sometimes I wanted to go hide and not come
out or cry. I know they feel the same way for different reasons, but I tell
them that look what God can do even though we may not understand at the time
there is a reason and he will bring us through. I share my testimony about
every time I go and let them share whatever is on their heart. It's
unbelievable sometimes the things that they will say to you about what has
happened to them.
