The next issue of the AAM newsletter is in process...and we need your
help. What's on your mind? What's important to you? We want to
know...we need to know in order to make the AAM newsletter a
meaningful part of the life of Africans living in the Madison area.

Please send any items of local, national, international, and world interest...
        ...sports
        ...community events
        ...the arts (music, visual arts, theater, etc.)
        ...cooking
        ...personal accounts
...that relate to Africa and the lives of Africans in the Madison area.

Here are just a few ideas (but please don't limit yourself to these)...
  - Information about a project being carried out in your home country
  - Upcoming events of interest in the Madison area
  - Highlights in sports
  - Highlights in news from home
  - Your favorite saying or proverb (especially in languages other
than English...with an English version included)
  - Your favorite recipe
  - The words to your favorite song from home
  - News of transitions in our community (graduations, celebrations,
weddings, births, deaths, and illness)

Is someone in your family a creative writer or artist? We are also
interested in...
  - Original poetry
  - Original fiction
  - Personal essays
  - Original artwork
