PLEASE TUNE IN TO THIS IMPORTANT SHOW:

"Here on Earth" with Jean Feraca is proud to bring the issue of New Cuban
Travel Restrictions to her radio audience, this coming Saturday,  August
14th, at 2 pm.  Please forward this notice to anyone you know who may be
interested.

We invite you to participate in the conversation featuring:

Ricardo Gonzalez, a former member of the Madison City Council and founder of
the Madison-Camaguey Sister City Association.  Gonzalez is now president of
the Cuban Committee for Democracy, a Miami-based Cuban American organization
working to bring about a more rational U.S. Cuba policy.

Joan Solaun, Director of Programs in Latin America and Spain at the
Institute for Study Abroad at Butler University in Indianapolis.  The
Institute's study program at the University of Havana will no longer be
allowed to function due to the new travel restrictions.

IN WISCONSIN

"Here On Earth with Jean Feraca" is broadcast on the Ideas Network of
Wisconsin Public Radio.  If you live in the WPR listening range, you can
find the station nearest you at www.wpr.org/ideas  (scroll down for the
listener map). The program airs Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
Central time (3:00-5:00 p.m. EASTERN TIME), then is re-broadcast Monday
through Thursday 8:00-9:00 p.m. Central.  To join the conversation, call
1-800-642-1234 or send an email to [log in to unmask]

IN THE U.S. AND CANADA

To listen live on the internet, go to www.hereonearth.org then click on the
link called "Listen to Here On Earth on Real Player."  To find out when the
show is broadcast in your time zone, click on "Local times around the world"
and you'll see exactly when to tune in on the web. To join the conversation,

We suggest you get your computer set-up before saturday's show, in case some
computer "issue" needs to be resolved before the program airs live at 2
PM...and the sad possibility of us missing your participation because of a

then click on the link called "Past Shows." You'll get a list of shows by
date, each with a brief description of the topic. To hear a program using
