African American Town Hall Meeting

When: Thursday, August 26th
Where: The Multicultural Center
Address: 1862 Beld Street in Madison (off of S. Park Street). ...
Time: 5:30 pm

· Since the beginning of the New Millennium, Madison has seen acceleration in the elimination of African Americans from positions of responsibility and leadership. Unless checked, this trend will not stop!

· Housing conditions, access, and affordability for the vast majority of African Americans has declined.

· Wisconsin has the largest minority achievement gap with African American children being the most deprived of all ethnic groups.

· EMPLOYMENT, HOUSING & EDUCATION are the most critical components to success of African American families.
This is a call for unity and solidarity for many to speak as one.

If you need a ride to the meeting please call 278-0738.
