In my first attempt to send this. I had an error in my address book. So sorry. Here it is again.
What a tremendous response! Thank you all for your excellent advice. Hope this post is not too long, but I will summarize what I have been told. Seems that there are many people experiencing this symptom.

Several people recommended I see the doctor and get tested for RA and osteoarthritis and have a bone density test. I will make an appointment straight away.

Nutritional deficiencies were suggested and supplements such as cod liver oil, Magneseum, probiotics and fiber were also. I will certainly investigate these suggestions. Also, more than one of you pointed out other food allergies such as corn, potatoes or dairy. (Hope not--certainly don't want to limit food choices further, but will check out). Also, Glucosamine Sulfate, Chondroitin Sulfate and MSM (methylsufphonylmethane). Someone suggested possibly a B-12 deficiency.

A common thread throughout the messages I received was that there are a lot of people suffering this symtom related to cd. Several people indicated that their pain subsided after being diligently gluten free for several months and that the symptoms did recur when gluten was ingested accidentally. That could certainly be true in my case because I have become a little lax reading labels with the busy holiday season.

If I receive any more messages I will certainly summarize them. Thank you all again for your kind responses. I feel so much beter, now. Just having a place to come to with questions makes all the difference. I know that you all really understnd. Thank you all again.
