I found out I was gluten intolerant when my first son was about a year old and I had already started to introduce wheat to him and he doesn't seem to have any problems at this time.

My second son was born a few months ago and I'm realizing this child is having a different experience than his brother because he has not been exposed to any gluten since I am nursing him and remaining GF at the same time. For those of you who have nursed a child while GF, did you introduce wheat/gluten when the child was old enough, say with finger foods like Cheerios, toast, etc. or did you hold off and not introduce it? If you did introduce it, did you notice a reaction right away, or does it take time for something to occur?

Thanks for your advice. I'll try to summarize in a few days.

Tracey
