We have a client who is supposed to begin employment with a company that
uses a piece of proprietary software called Evolve, which was developed
by FDR. The client is using a computer operating Windows XP Pro,
Service Pack 2, with JAWS 7.00.
When he presses Enter on a search with the program, he gets a message
saying that there is an error with a file named comctl32.dll. The file
is version 5.82.2900.2180.
When the technician looked in the system32 folder and in the JAWS
folder, the version on this file was version 4. They tried the JAWS 7.1
beta, with no benefit.
Any suggestions on how we can get this error resolved would be
appreciated.
