Greetings,

This, I know, is a very long shot but maybe there is something.

What I want to do is find a way in which I can check **all** the addresses
in my address database are still active, without needing to send messages
to each of them.

I am aware of the Ferrit software, this will **not** do what I want.

I am looking for either a site which I can send my addresses to, this site
returns them as a file, in some way indicating to me which do **not** exist
any more and, if possible, the addresses superceding them.

I have an address database which probably contains loads of addresses no
longer active and I would dearly like to tidy it up.

Please can anybody suggest how I can go about this in as simple a way,
without needing to send a couple of thousand emails.

I do know about the Ferrit programs, so unless they've now incorporated a
feature which will do what I want, there is no need to mention them.

Cheers.

Colin R. Howard.
