Yeah, I know this comes up every year. Are any of the tax preparation
packages even slightly usable with a screen reader? I picked up a copy
of Quicken's TurboTax and couldn't get much out of it. There were
actually buttons that I could tab to, but could not find them on the
screen using the JAWS cursor. So, I was never sure what the buttons were
referring to.
I've had a bad streak of very inaccessible software recently. It's
starting to get on my nerves.
Anybody know of another tax prep package that is usable? I don't even
care if it is quote accessible quote, just usable even if it is a pain to
work with.
Last year I was able to file my state on line and I was happy about that.
