But summer sunlight is long and strong. It should be possible, but I
haven't tried it. If you can find one it is easy to test, just bury it
a few cents under the surface and water it.

Pumpkins and squash are basically the same thing, just different
varieties. We usually steam or boil them, some people bake them. Makes
good soup in the winter.
