This is not something I know very much about -- I'm no
climatologist -- but I think that in an equatorial region,
whether it is cold or warm, you will still have
essentially no seasonal variation because you don't get
the long summer days and short winter nights. So
presumably, fruit could grow all year round in an
equatorial region. The type of fruit or vegetable would of
course vary depending on the climate.
