Jen,

Firstly, in order of email and not importance. Welcome back to the list!
Secondly and more important. Just cause you are not getting it when you
read does not mean you are not a Christian. Jen, I remember when you were
on the list before and all the questions, the hunger, the passion for truth
and etc. as well your mention of your being born again. So drop that
thought and leave it with the enemy who wants you to believe that lie. We
all go through dry times, times of finding out we are not spending time in
the word, finding times when we read and it seems like words we've heard so
many times either read or quoted, and it means nothing. So dry you'd think
they'd blow right off the page if not inked on. And then there are times
when you read you swear it was not in there the first 20 times you read
that book, chapter or verse. Suddenly you blossom in understanding. The
important thing is to get the word in you and it doesn't matter if you read
it via Braille, listen to it via online audio bible, tapes, or have a Bible
program. There are portable units that allow one to read the Bible
anywhere, there are Braille bibles to read anywhere you wish to lug a
wheelbarrow... oh sorry ehehheeheh anywhere you wish to carry a volume
around. Some people spend time in the word in the morning some at night and
it really depends on what works best for you, but it is important to make
time. I always can tell when I need to spend more time in it as things tend
to fall apart around me.

Brad
