Pat,

As difficult as it is to wade through such things, it is times like these
which we see the unconditional love of God. Man will always let us down if
we stay in the ring of trust long enough. Even our loving mates will give
cause for anguish and reason to be upset. However, one must look at how
much poorer a person we'd be if not blessed by knowing, communicating, and
sharing life with the people that hurt us. The only reason they hurt us so
deeply was because they meant something to us in the first place. If we are
willing to let them in again, for another chance to swing at our heart one
day, we can again as well enjoy sharing life with them. That is if they are
willing as well. Unfortunately there are no guarantees and they come as a
boxed set. We cannot help or change others, but pray for them to give us a
chance as well. One day, we too will find ourselves having erred and in
need of forgiveness and need to make amends and will be reminded to humble
ourselves and ask forgiveness.

Brad
