Please join us for our GFG-AZ meeting on Wednesday, September 15 from
6:30 PM
to 8:00 PM.

Our guest speaker is Chef Rachel Albert-Matesz, a freelance food and
health writer, cooking instructor, and health cooking coach for more
than 18 years. She is the author of “The Garden of Eating,” a practical
guide to organizing your kitchen and your life in order to get 3 to 5
USDA servings of produce per meal. This is particularly important for
gluten-free diners who often go overboard on the gluten-free goodies and
neglect the more important fruits and veggies (I know, I’ve done this!).

I had the opportunity to attend one of Chef Rachel’s cooking classes and
can say, without a doubt, that we’re in for a treat. She is
knowledgeable, practical and enthusiastic in her approach to gluten-free
cooking. I’m certain that you’ll leave with many practical ideas for
improving your diet.

Our mini food fair will feature four healthy recipes from “The Garden of
Eating.”

We meet in the Asics Rooms 1 & 2 at Chandler Regional Hospital at 1875
West Frye Road, Chandler, AZ 85224. Please note that this is a new
location as of April 2004.

Directions:

Please go to the Main Lobby Entrance of the Hospital on Dobson ( just
south of the Emergency Room) Go down to the basement via the first
elevators. Go towards the Pharmacy, and then continue down that hallway
to the room on the right. (Please note that we do not meet in -- or near
-- the
cafeteria.) Major Cross Streets are *Dobson & Frye.* Hospital is on the
South East corner.

I look forward to seeing everybody.
