Posting for a friend who is having trouble with her internet server.....

She is a very recently diagnosed celiac who is heading on a week long Thanksgiving driving trip with 2 children and a husband (she is the only celiac). They will have Thanksgiving dinner at a relatives house. My friend plans on doing most of the cooking for the dinner, to avoid problems with explaining the whole GF diet. No one in the extended family is aware of the diet (of course!).

She is looking for any tips on traveling, eating out, etc. And would appreciate any info on GF aware restaurants, stores or lodging along her route. They plan to go through Little Rock, Arkansas and Memphis, Tenn. The Thanksgiving meal will be in Hattesburg, Miss., so if you know of any stores with GF selections in or around this area, it would be very helpful to her.

I'll summarize and of couse pass all responses on. Thanks in advance.
