Quite a while back I read the posts about the dangers of using antacids on a regular basis and did wean myself from them. I do fine most of the time, but my question is: When I do have occasional burn in my throat, what should I do for it? I try drinking lots of water, but that doesn't stop it. I don't have the reflux, and it isn't just when I lay down. Do I break down and take a Tagament, etc. or is there a more natural remedy?

Thanks for any help.
Faye,
Central TX
