I've been meaning to post this 'forever' and the recent post on the
great nutritionist (is she a dietician?) at Beth Israel in Boston has
prompted me to jump in with a 'me too!!'

Krispin Sullivan (www.krispin.com) is incredible. She's changed my life
and that of my kids. I was doing fine, or so I thought, with the
gluten free diet, but when we also lost eggs, dairy, soy, most legumes
and most nuts I was sure I was headed for the funny farm.

First we took a look at what we were doing, then at where we needed to
be.....figured out how to get there, then filled in the nutritional
holes with supplements. Honestly, there were many more holes than i'd
imagined.

15 mos after the start of this nutritional journey (gf started almost
4 years ago but the new constraints started more recently), my kids are
doing great. We've seen improvements in growth in the one who was
barely growing and improvments in behavior in the one who was out of
control. No wonder she was! She was seriously missing zinc, essential
fatty acids, various b vitamins, magnesium and calcium in her diet.

My anxiety of 10 years and my depression of double that are a thing of
the past.

Krispin is in Northern California, I'm in atlanta. All of our work has
been done phone or fax (mostly phone) and b/c i use onesuite.com
(2.4c/min long distance), the long distance cost isn't even a factor.
The questionnaire she required for each of us was 6 pages long. the
most comprehensive health hx i've ever given. she charges $65/hour and
the total initial work up for me and the girls (2 of them) was $265,
including a very comprehensive workbook. as questions come up, i write
them down, then phone her, she charges me based on the time we actually
use, which usually comes out to about $22.50 for a 'tune up':)

Nutritionally speaking, i now know the difference between 'sufficient'
and *optimal*. And what a difference it's made. My fatigue had
literally evaporated, my concentration is improved, my ability to handle
stress has dramatically increased....well, i could go on and on......

her number is (415) 488-9636. i encourage everyone to read everything
on her website. if trying to contact her, initially phone is the best
way. due to her email filters, email generally doesn't come through
until she sets her program to allow the address.
