The entire contents of
The Smith-Kettlewell Technical File
are now available by FTP.

The Smith-Kettlewell Technical File
is A QUARTERLY TECHNICAL JOURNAL FOR BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED READERS
It contains, among other articles, a seven part series on soldering techniques,
and an extensive series on basic electronics construction methods
which culminates in building a series of practical test
instruments.  also included are numerous articles on specific
integrated circuits and other solid state devices.

To find this journal, go to:
ftp.ski.org/pub/Rehab/Fowle

This is case sensative.
the "R" in Rehab and the "F" in Fowle are upper case
You may login as anonymous or ftp and use your complete email address as
password.

Depending on your system, you may need to start at the
ftp.ski.org
directory and do a
cd pub/Rehab/Fowle
after logging in.

Please Please read the
readme.txt
file as it contains important information about addresses, file
names etc.

The file
contents.txt
has the entire table of contents by issue

The entire directory may be had by downloading
sktftxt.zip
and unpacking this file into a directory of choice on your
computer.

For questions or comments use ONLY the contact information in the
readme.txt file and as listed below.
Addresses in the individual issues have NOT been updated.

The contents of these files remain copyright by Smith-Kettlewell
Rehabilitation Engineering center or by others as stated in
specific articles.  They may be distributed freely so long as the
original text remains unchanged and copyright notices remain
intact.

When  these journals are converted to marked up HTML, they will
be made available in a browsable form for easier searching.
However the individual files are not long and can be easilly
managed with a judicious use of find commands.
