Has anyone read or heard of either one of these books
and can tell me if there anything worthwhile about
them?

Health Secrets of the Stone Age - Goscienski

Why We Get Sick. The New Science of Darwinian Medicine
- Neese

Also,
Over the summer I found a book called Evolving Health
(Boaz) in a discount store. I found it interesting.
Dietarily, it is consistent with the Paleo-ideas
generally expressed on this list. I looks at diseases
in society and explains them in terms of evolution as
well as developmental anatomy. I especially found
useful the discussion in the book on biomechanical
ailments. As a result I have started sleeping on the
floor instead of my bed and without a pillow (I use
folded towels). I have had chronic low back pain and
seem to be benefitting from the change.
