I went on a 4 day water fast. When I was vegetarian I fasted quite a few
times. I always broke it with fruit because it was supposed to be easily
digested. I was unable to control my eating. I think it was because of a
sugar spike after my blood sugar and insulin levels were lowered because of
the fast.
I broke this past fast with chicken and some red chard with olive oil. I
also had a little lettuce. and green pepper.
I do not have the post fast crazys that I have had in the past.
