One interesting thing is that different countries have different
'normal' ranges. I pulled out my last blood donation report, and the
normal range in Japan for ALB is 3.9-5.0, for A/G ratio is 1.2-2.0.

My A/G ratio was 2.1 this last time, so actually outside the 'normal'
range. But they must not think it is a problem because it wasn't
flagged.

Normal range for cholesterol here is 110-250! Quite a bit higher than
the recent guidelines in the States. My cholesterol fell from 270 a
year ago to 223 last week.
