We're not susceptible. Virex is Mac virus protection software. John couldn't reach their website (see previous post), not that he had a virus .
Mac users that have their machines on Windows networks are often forced by system administrators to install what is basically useless-to-the-Mac virus software to prevent inadvertently forwarding infected attachments to PC users within that corporate network. For poorly designed systems that don't have virus protection on the server-side, it can be a route of infection that infects PC users that have disabled or mis-configured the virus software on their personal computer or laptop.
