I heard it on TV, where I get all my information (except for the stuff in that column in the Sunday Times Real Estate section).  400 sounds much more reasonable to me, but maybe still a little on the high side.  I'll have to do a little calculation on it using the weight per cubic foot of wood, and get back to you.
