Hi Lynn,

I am relatively new to the diet but yes, I eat strictly Paleo. My main
reasons for doing the diet is that I have food intolerances to gluten,
dairy, corn, soy, and yeast. The Paleo Diet is ideal for the lifestyle I
need to live in order to be functional and healthy. I am adjusting to
eating more meat and saturated fat than ever before - I feel good doing
it. And being grain free is also wonderful. In my own mind - before I
found the Paleo Diet - I called it "going natural, or going back to
basics" as I found myself navigating away from processed foods in order to
avoid my food triggers. If I don't stay strict I will get sick in a matter
of a few hours or days after I ingest a trigger - this is a good motivator
to be strict with the diet.

I believe Peanuts and Cashews are legumes, thus not paleo.

Karen
