Did I say "cured"?  I meant to say that I know what causes them.  Actually, I've known that since the last episode in 2003.  I have to have stress, a virus of some sort, maybe some sunburn or exhaustion, tobacco, wine and then something with gluten in it.  Sure recipe.

Agreed.  The steroid tells your overreactive immune system to back off for a while.
