That's interesting.  I must read the book.  I know that Rosedale also
advises against consumption of a lot of saturated fat while one is in
the "acute" phase, i.e., while one is still struggling with weight and
IR problems.  I think he takes the view that when these are corrected,
one can relax that restriction.  So, based on what you say here and what
I've read elsewhere (Rosedale used to be one of the Eades's scientific
advisors), I guess he advocates a carb intake of about 40g a day, not
much protein, and a whole lot of monounsaturated fat.  The leptin
sensitivity point is interesting.
