are  safe for diabetics and do not raise insulin, but I have a hard  time
believing that.

The real question is are they (artificial sweeteners) safe for anyone,
diabetic or not. In my opinion they are best not used.  JerrySteg  (Of  course they
are not Paleo, nor is "sugar").
