My parents would start supplementing with brewer's yeast about 3 months
prior to a camping trip. This would help keep the mosquitoes away.

Makes me wonder, if consuming brewers yeast alters your body chemistry
enough that you get shunned by mosquitoes, maybe it's not such a healthy
thing to eat.
