The historic NIH Celiac Consensus Conference in Bethesda end of June was
an amazing opportunity for all of us in the celiac community to come
together to put celiac disease on the center stage. I was thrilled to
have been one of the 19 speakers from around the world and present on
"How to provide effective education and resources on GF diets". Check
out the following link to view the speakers presentations on webcast,
read the consensus document, abstract book and detailed bibliography:
http://consensus.nih.gov/cons/118/118cdc_intro.htm
Speaking of the GF diet, check out www.glutenfreediet.ca to read the
reviews, table of contents and how to order "Gluten-Free Diet: A
Comprehensive Resource Guide". This 176 page book is a National Best
Seller and is filled with practical information for people with celiac
disease, dietitians and physicians.
Have a great summer!
