Hi All--
I was just in Publix grocery store and stopped to browse through their frozen turkeys. I picked up a frozen Butterball turkey breast with ribs (NOT the roast) and found wheat and wheat gluten listed in the ingredient list. Boy, was I disappointed! Maybe gluten is only in the breast and not the Lil' Butterballs and/or standard turkeys, but thought this discovery should be passed on.
I'll be writing Butterball to ask about the wheat and gluten and expressing my disfavor with the added ingredients. I don't care for Honeysuckle, so will now have to find another favorite. Typically, I don't check ingredient lists like I should, especially on things that have been gf for a long time. This certainly taught me to be more aware!
Cheers,
Ayn in Alabama
