Due to my cd, I was told I needed Fosamax 35mg (1 a week) a couple of years
ago. Last year, after another bone density, I was told I was "holding my
own". Now, in just the last few weeks, I had to have a spinal fusion L4-L5
and wonder if anyone has had experience with bone fusion and Fosamax.
Somewhere I thought I read that Fosamax would interfere with a fusion but
can't seem to locate the reference. I'd appreciate any comments any of you
may have regarding your experiences with fosamax (and possibly even bone
fusions). My doctors say it's ok to not take it, but I sure want to heal
so want to do what's best; however, I'm at a loss. Even calling the
manufacturer didn't help. Does anyone out there know the answer? Thank
you so much....
