Wow!! Thanks for all the help and support. Many suggested slicing the bread and freezing the slices laid out on a cookie sheet in the freezer. I never would have thought of that and will probably do that since I have a chest freezer that would easily accomodate cookie sheets. Other suggestions were to place pieces of saran wrap, wax paper and/or foil between slices of bread and then freeze in larger freezer bags or plastic storage containers so that the bread would retain its shape. Some people also put 1 or 2 slices of bread at a time in sandwich size plastic bags and grabbed them out of the freezer when needed. A few people suggested transfering the baggies to the frig overnight and the bread would be thawed in the morning.  Also a great idea.  One person suggested making up mixes ahead of time and storing them in separate plastic baggies and just adding the liquid ingredients when you make the bread. Also a time-saving tip for a busy household.
