"m dash" is an extended dash. It is generated by Microsoft Word unless, you
disable it in autocorrect, when you separate text with a dash. If you are
seeing it on the Web then either the page was generated in Word or some
other Microsoft Web Development software.

Subject: [VICUG-L] "m dash"
Hi listers. Recently I've found in reading internet articles the symbol
which Jaws reads as "m dash".
Exactly what does this mean, and if necessary what keyboard command do you
type to make it? Thanks in advance.
