hello list,
has anyone tried running a Tascam US428 audio interface from batteries? in
theory this should be easy, as it runs from an external transformer which
should be able to be substituted easily with a battery box supplying the
correct voltage.
what I am not sure of however, is the affect on both the unit and the
laptop to which it would be connected when the batteries started going.
I am using this setup as a portable audio work station, and would find it
really handy when mains power is not available if the tascam could run on
batteries as well as the laptop.
