I have installed Defender and used Winamp with no problem,
and I don't have the latest version of Winamp. Defender is extremely easy
to use also. Just another opinion. Cathy

Subject: [VICUG-L] stay away from Windows Defender, for now anyways
Hi all,
Well, here's the scoop on Windows Defender.
Stay away from it for now.
I downloaded it today, and then installed it, and everything was workin
fine, until I tryed to play a main menu audio file in winamp, and sure
enough, Windows Defender goofed up my winamp player, so I installed Windows
Defender, and had to uninstall winamp, and then, I went to
http://www.whitestick.co.uk
and clicked on downloads, then downloaded and installed the latest version
of Winamp (version 5.31), and I'm back up and running again.
Just wanted to give you all the scoop in Defender, at least from my opinion.
Harry
