OH Vinny, I believe you, but it is so hard. We've written to Focus on
the Family and Teen Challenge, asking for advice. We've also contacted
our insurance company to see what kinds of things we may have coverage
for if we decide to place him in a residential setting, if we could get
him there, of course. Tonight, he has informed us that some friends will
be picking him up from work so that Greg doesn't need to bother. This,
after being home sick today. I'm so tired of the lies and head games,
but no one seems willing or able to help us until he actually gets caught
doing something stupid or illegal. What a crazy society to have things
set up this way. This is innocent until proven guilty run a muck.
I talked to my Mom this morning and we are both praying that he will hit
rock bottom fast. I'm not going to protect him, that's for sure. I'm
counting down the days, 349 today, until he turns 18 and, if nothing
else, I can give him the boot. I just pray that I can keep this resolve.
Kathy
