Ah Helen,
I'm sorry about your flowers.  On a brighter note, we planted some baby
lilac bushes about six years ago, but the soil up here is so bad that we
were afraid that we'd never have flowers.  Well, yesterday, the sun broke
out for a few minutes and I went out into ;my yard to will the excavator
into existance and, while it didn't come, I did discover that I have a
few lilacs in bloom!  YEAAAH!  They smell heavenly, but they're about the
only thing making progress in my yard at present.  UG!
